Heaven King: 4-year-old mini Beyoncé becomes YouTube Queen
The new YouTube sensation is a four-year-old dancer, Heaven King, also known as the “mini Beyoncé”. She became the YouTube Queen after her dancing clip became one of the most watched YouTube videos of the year, with 116 million views; announced by the US online video serviceon Wednesday.
In a three-minute clip, we see Heaven King’s performance with her group, right in New York, on the song “Watch Me” by American rapper Silento. The five girls, all dressed in orange and white, wiggle in front of a mural on the streets of Harlem on this very popular tune in the United States.
With this video, four-year-old Heaven King has become a child celebrity in the United States and has 171,000 followers on her Instagram account.
The second most viewed YouTube videos this year was compiled by “only” 83 million views. This second video is a commercial for the video game “Clash of Clans” which was aired during the Super Bowl, the final of the American football championship. Actor Liam Neeson made an appearance the video.
In third place, we find a US comedian and YouTube prankster Roman Atwood. His video “Crazy Plastic Ball,” has been viewed over 56 million times.
In 2015, the top 10 also included Justin Bieber in the process of performing a cover of a song in karaoke, and a fun American policeman singing in his car.
YouTube, owned by Google since 2006, this year celebrates its tenth anniversary.
